CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

WHY WE EXIST

We exist to assist parents/guardians in empowering their kids to live in loving relationship with God. We desire to help nurture parents and children in living Spirit filled lives so they have the power to be God's light, shining hope all around them. The Bible calls parents to be their children's number one spiritual trainer (Deuteronomy 6:6-9) and the church helps encourage and equip them to do so. Our hope is that parents/guardians will find the resources on this page to be helpful in assisting them in spiritually leading their families in and out of the home.

Our Responsibility to parents and families

It's our goal to guide, love, teach and care for the children in our ministry and throughout the church and community. It is our passion to share the Word of God (the Bible) with children so they may come to know the full love of God and in turn love God themselves. We seek to provide viable resources/ministries to help parents in their vital role.

A word on Child safety

Child safety is a priority at Price Chapel. All of our Children's Ministry workers and volunteers are trained on safe place practices and are screened with national and state background checks. We believe the church has to be the safest place for children and families to be.

Curriculum

We are excited to use the TruWonder curriculum for our Preschool-K class and TruStory for our elementary kids. Tru's curriculum is designed to help leaders, children and their families connect to God, find their place in His "Big God Story," and respond to Him through the power of the Holy Spirit. Tru also offers great parental resources to interact with children before we teach each lesson so the parents/guardians can set the foundation that can be reinforced through Price Chapel's children's ministries.

This parental resource, Homefront Magazine, is available to all families free of charge and is available in print on Sundays in children's ministry classrooms.

A digital copy of the magazine is also available online at homefrontmag.com (for online access a paid subscription is required).
